2002 Labor Achievement Award

  The Labor Achievement Award is presented to outstanding labor leaders who have distinguished themselves by their extraordinary contributions.   This year's honorees were Denis Hughes and Randi Weingarten.  In the photo from left to right Thomas Mackell Jr., Howard Teich, Brian McLaughlin, Randi Weingarten, Dennis Rivera,  Denis M Hughes, Maxine Montano and Thomas Acosta.

City View Breakfast Series

City Council Speaker Gifford Miller was the guest at our first City View breakfast.  New York City faces many challenges in 2002 after the tragic events of 9/11 and this series features local politicians.

Annual Citizen's Achievement Award

Awarded to individuals for their outstanding dedication to the community. This year's recipients were John Catsimatidis and Robert F Kennedy Jr (right).  The event took place at the Plaza Hotel on June 20th with about 100 in attendance.  Follow the link above for more photos and an in depth story.
